SimpleApps Learners is an independent study-practice product operated by SimpleApps (PTY) LTD ("SimpleApps", "we", "our", "us"). It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the Department of Transport, the RTMC, or any provincial licensing authority. All practice questions, study material and road-sign references are originally written or illustrated based on official published study manuals, and are provided for study purposes only.
You must provide accurate information when creating an account and are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. South Africa's learner's licence test is available from age 16 upward; if you are under 18, you should have a parent or guardian's permission to use this service. You're responsible for all activity under your account.
SimpleApps Learners is a study aid, not an official test or a guarantee of passing the real learner's licence test administered by your provincial licensing authority. The real test (including the Computerised Learner's Licence Testing system) is controlled entirely by government authorities, draws on its own question pool, and may differ from our practice content in wording, difficulty, or format. We do not guarantee any particular score, pass rate, or outcome, and using this service is not a substitute for reading the official study manuals.
We take reasonable care in preparing questions, explanations, study guides and sign references, but all content is provided "as is" without warranty of accuracy or completeness. Study material may contain errors, become outdated as rules or manuals change, or fail to reflect every question style used in the real test. You use this content at your own risk and should verify anything safety-critical (such as road rules you rely on when driving) against the official manuals or your licensing authority.

New accounts start on a free trial. After the trial, continued access to practice, mock exams and study guides requires an active paid subscription; pricing and billing terms are shown in the dashboard and may change with reasonable notice. Fees, once paid, are not refundable except where required by law. You may cancel at any time from the dashboard; cancellation stops future billing but does not refund fees already paid.
All content on SimpleApps Learners — questions, explanations, study guides, sign illustrations and branding — is either originally created by SimpleApps or used under a licence that permits our use, and remains our property or that of the relevant licensor. You may use it for personal study only.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SimpleApps shall not be liable for any outcome of your real learner's licence test or any other driving-related examination, including failing the test, having to retake or rebook a test, any booking or retest fees, or any loss, cost, or damage (direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential) arising from your use of, or reliance on, this service or any error, omission, or inaccuracy in its content. This applies regardless of whether we were advised of the possibility of such loss. The service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, as to its accuracy, completeness, reliability, or fitness for a particular purpose. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under South African law.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SimpleApps and its officers, employees and agents from any claims, damages, losses or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the service in violation of these terms or applicable law.
We aim to keep the service available and your data intact, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access, and are not liable for outages, scheduled maintenance, or factors beyond our reasonable control.
You may stop using the service and request account deletion at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will ask you to review and accept the new version before you can continue using paid features. Continued use after a non-material change constitutes acceptance of the update.
